Prologue: Is it a dream or reality...?
What
is this strange sensation? It feels as though a soft, weightless warmth
is drifting through my entire body.
…Ah.
So this is a dream.
I
couldn’t give a proper explanation for it, but somehow I just know I’m
dreaming. I bet a lot of people have had this sort of experience before.
The
place I'm in… looks like a room of some sort. All that’s here is a single bed.
It’s so empty and plain that I can’t help thinking about what a dream analyst would make of it.
“Ufufu,
you’re here.”
A
woman’s voice slipped into my ears—sweet, sultry, and so thick with allure that
it almost tickled, as if her tongue were tracing the inside of my ear.
When
I came to, a stunning woman was standing right in front of me.
“My
name is—”
“Eh?”
I
couldn’t quite make out the most crucial part—the name.
But the woman simply ignored me and carried on speaking.
“I’m searching for someone to help me carry out my plan. And I believe you have the talent for it.”
She flashed a seductive smile, then her gaze slowly traced over my body, starting at my toes and moving up as if she were licking me with her eyes.
“I wonder, do you like the world you’re living in right now?”
“Why
would you ask something like that?”
“Because
I want to know. That’s all there is to it.”
The
woman spoke, her words laced with hidden meaning.
“Hmph.
You sure think highly of yourself. But I don’t like the world I’m living in.
All I do is work, browse the internet, and sleep. I’m not living a meaningful
life—if you can even call it living.”
“What
if... in a world that isn’t this one, you could do whatever you wanted?”
What
is this woman even talking about…?
“If you had the ability to do what you truly enjoy, would you want to leave the world you’re living in and go to another one?”
This
is a dream I can’t quite grasp. Is she trying to pry into my desires?
“The
answer is already clear. If such a world exists—”
As I answered, the woman nodded, her expression one of satisfaction.
“It’s
decided, then. Oh, by the way, this is still just a dream world. But if you
ever get the chance to hold the real me... ruin me completely, okay ♪”
With
those words, the woman disappeared. My consciousness slowly began to shift.
It’s
almost time for me to wake up. Ah, another dull, ordinary day is about to
start…
