Chapter 4: Bonds Through a Mother–Daughter Threesome—A Decadent Parent-Teacher Conference With Sexy Kano-mama - 2
‘cogy: Still, I can’t help but feel this is way too
perverse. And, somehow, it seems way too convenient for me…’
The next day, Urusuke sat in the familiar chat
room, fingers moving across the keyboard.
If Sae and Hanao are both at peace with it, then
that should be enough—he wanted to believe that. But knowing it all began with
his own betrayal, he couldn’t rid himself of the guilt that perhaps he alone
was enjoying the reward.
‘It'sme: Man, for real, a oyakodon, huh… It actually exists in real life, huh.’
‘FTO: Even an eroge would blush at that. What are you, man—some kind of hero who saved the world in your past life?’
‘cogy: Don’t tease me, seriously… I still can’t figure out how things turned
out like this.’
All Urusuke had told them was this: ‘I had an
affair with my girlfriend’s widowed mother,’ and ‘My girlfriend found out—but
since both mother and daughter are so close, I somehow ended up dating
both.’
Even so, his online friends replied with the same
easygoing banter as always, taking it all in stride.
‘It'sme: Well, you know—it’s not like it’s a crime in the end. You’re marrying the daughter, right?’
‘cogy: Yeah… that’s right.’
‘FTO: Then, as long as everyone’s on board, I don’t see the issue. Still think you deserve to explode though, cogy.’
‘It'sme: All that’s left now is your resolve. You chose this yourself—decided
you’d take care of them both, didn’t you?’
Urusuke paused, mulling over his friends’ remarks.
In a way, their opinions were extreme—things he would never hear from
responsible adults, parents, teachers, or friends in real life.
Yet precisely for that reason, their words gave him
a perspective to assess the situation purely with reason, stripped of moral
hesitation.
Maybe I was just a little pushed around by the
intensity of the love between Hanao and Sae-san.
From the very start, he was the one who drove them
to this madness.
I must not forget that. I have no choice but to see
this through to the very end with them.
‘cogy: —Thanks, you two. I was feeling a bit unsure.’
‘It'sme: No problem.’
‘FTO: “Yeah, I get it. This is straight out of an erotic manga. Most people
would back off in a situation like this.’
After leaving the chat room, Urusuke brought up a
search screen on his smartphone. The keywords he typed in were a date from
three years ago, local place names, and terms like ‘marine accident’ and ‘yacht.’
“…There it is.”
It wasn’t long before Urusuke came across an
article detailing a missing-person case that had taken place in this city three
years ago.
“‘On the afternoon of the 30th in Totsue City Wisdom
shore, a man who went out fishing by yacht has gone missing. The Coast Guard
and other authorities are searching under the assumption that he may have
fallen into the sea. The missing man is in his forties and lives in the city.
That morning, he told his family, ‘I’m going fishing’, and left home—but never
returned,’ huh…”
Next, he found what appeared to be a follow-up
article.
“‘On the afternoon of the 1st, an unmanned yacht
was found off the coast of Totsue City Wisdom shore. It is believed to belong
to Hanataro-san (43), who had been reported missing recently. The prefectural
police are investigating the possibility that he fell overboard and are
continuing their search for him’…”
After going through the articles, he searched for
additional updates—but came up empty-handed.
“So… that means he still hasn’t been found, huh?”
Hanataro—in other words, Hanao’s father and Sae’s
husband—had been officially declared dead, and the funeral had already taken
place.
Urusuke sank into thought, reflecting on the
lingering sense of guilt that still weighed heavily in Sae’s heart.
If only… if there were some way I could ease the
burden on her heart…
Next, he took a seat at his PC and started a
private chat. The recipient was his friend on social media—It'sme. A response
came shortly thereafter.
‘It'sme: Oh? What’s up? Got a little secret to share?’
‘cogy: You mentioned before—you’ve done infidelity investigations, haven’t you?’
There was a short silence. After a moment, a
response finally arrived.
‘It'sme: —Are you asking the real me for a job?’
